This was my first real catapult. I had bought a few offerings from Ebay but the PPSG was my first real slingshot. I have a few other Pro Shot catapults now the PPMG and the Hathcock TS but this is my go to catapult for accuracy. As someone else on here has said you have to be a little more careful with this slingshot and I think its that that makes me a better shot with it.

Purchased the PPSG after all the other PP’s (except the PPHG). I have to say the PPSG fits my hand perfectly, just moulds into it, feels like it’s part of my hand. Ergos are perfect for me. Polish was perfect also. Gap is around 46mm at the shot line which I suppose calls for a little more care than with the later MG and MG+’s, but if you do what you should be doing that’s not a problem, correct alignments, technique etc. I use 20-16 bands so 20mm tips are spot on. It’s a handed frame inasmuch as the thumb recess on the swell is slightly deeper (when held in right hand – designed by John who shoots right handed) but difference in depth from forefinger recess is only fractional so, of course, is perfectly suited to left hand use as well (I shoot with right) It’s also a beautiful frame, very functional looking, love it. A big thanks to John Webb for designing this beauty in the first place and to Proshot for ensuring it stays available, long may it do so !. Thoroughly recommend – AL.

Wanted to try one of these after watching Gamekeeper John’s youtube channel. Great slingshot this, super comfortable to hold do to it’s ergonomic shape. My previous slingshot was the Scout, which I exclusively held it in a thumb brace position, but I had no problem switching to a pinch grip to hold this slingshot, it felt so natural I didn’t even feel the switch. The aiming dimp totally helped me to aim. Great build as well.

This is my first slingshot I bought from proshot and it is aweseome, once you pick it up you will have a hard time to put it down again. It is just so much fun. I will surely buy another slingshot from this company in the future.

This is my second purchase from Hogan castings as my other one was a bronze moorhammer, and like my other review these slingshots are absolutely fantastic. The grip is superb and is very comfortable to hold, also the accuracy after only a few shots is fantastic. I think my next purchase from Hogan castings is going to be the HareSplitter Lite these are just fantastic castings, and like my other review the workmanship is top quality.
