“The general is a catapult I designed solely for casting, there’s several aspects I wanted to cover and with the help and knowledge from other RCC team shooters I believe we’ve achieved it, firstly I wanted it to be a symmetrical ambidextrous design that feels comfortable for all hand sizes, I also wanted it to be a frame with a web-swell for pinch grip but that can also be held in the brace grip, it can be held firmly or loosely without felling like you will drop it due to a very slender waist for your middle finger to wrap around, Most importantly for me it had to be pocket-able more so then other frames of its nature, looking at the general side on clearly shows that has been achieved, Also I dropped the commonly used palm-swells as they can add unneeded bulk to a frame, instead the handle of the general has been curved away from the Palm which increases grip and comfort and makes it noticeably neater for the pocket, The frame can be shot both TTF and OTT with both tubes or flat bands, which was another box I wanted to tick, The general is a very competent frame in the hands of both beginners and expert shots a like.” Asa Wilson – Romany Custom Catapults

This slingshot is a comfortable “jack-of-all-trades” that is surprisingly nice to shoot for an all-rounder. It doesn’t fit incredibly wide flat bands, but is an excellent choice if you’re either of adaptable styles or beginner shooter trying to figure out what works for you. You won’t be disappointed by any means.

I absolutely love this slingshot. I’ve been using this for over 1 year, it is my go to slingshot most of the time because it’s the whole package – high quality aluminium casting, good ergonomics, well defined edges to give you a perfect reference point for long distance shooting, it’s compact so you can slip it in your pocket with a few pieces of ammo and just pull it out when you need to
I think this slingshot is best OTT style, when I started using it I shot TTF up to 3 months ago then switched to OTT. Two reasons TTF is noisier in my opinion the other is band life the bands seem to clatter into a smallish width between the forks (5 cm) and the height (3 cm) which seems to affect the band life a bit more than it should. I’m getting around 300 shots plus band life using OTT on this slingshot using Precise latex band sets.

Beautiful not only in its looks but more importantly in its ergonomics for various frame holds,.
The diversity with quick change or wrap and tuck, TTF or OTT, bands or tubes makes this so enjoyably versatile.
Whilst I prefer this in TTF it’s great in OTT as well.

10 out of 10 really couldn’t ask for any better, arrived very quickly, never been a good shot before but shooting this ttf using top corner to aim and not missing a thing, I’m over the moon and would highly recommend

A nice well made product from pro shot as usual. Fits quite well I the hand. I normally shoot RTF but I do d this o e shoots better OFF for me anyway.

My first but not last slingshot from ProShot Catapults. Ordered it Tuesday and Friday it arrived, only four days from UK to Finland. Frame is really nicely polished. Fits to hand perfectly.
