Jorg Sprave based this design on a wooden prototype that was made from 4000 years old moor oak. This ‘Hammerhead’ design variation is the culmination of many different slingshots Jorg Sprave built over the course of several years. It is a high performance frame, to be shot exclusively in the ‘hammer grip’ or ‘pistol grip’ shooting style. This style allows the strongest bands, but can be used equally well with light target setups. It is very low over the hand, making clumsy wrist braces obsolete. But due to the gently curved fork outline, it can be shot without any wrist flipping. Therefore, beginners and experts alike can take their shooting to new levels.
Length: 130mm
Width: 105mm
Shooting Gap: 85mm x 25mm
Weight: 820g
Includes a free band set and fitting instructions

One slingshot to shoot them all, One slingshot to hit them, One slingshot to penetrate the wall and in the darkness bind them.😉 Unbelievable kind of art, precision and style. 👍

This must be the most beautiful frame I’ve ever bought. It has low forks so I’m always twisting my pouch 90 degrees. I don’t want to ding this beauty. The Moorhammer has same kind of hammergrip handle than the Rambone has. The heaviness will absorb the energy of recoiling bands. Good solid catapult that performs well and looks amazing.

Just received my bronze moorhammer. What a thing of beauty and power. A very friendly frame for someone pretty new to the sport and yet it seduces you to put more powerful bands on. Love the weight and feel. May pickup an aluminum version just to have a lighter version for my backpack.

<<Ah the bronze moorhammer. The frame of legends. Wrought on Vulcan’s forge in fire and darkness. It’s a mighty weapon: it weighs nearly a kilogram and it does indeed beg for powerful bands. But it’s not for the uninitiated.>> by JimRhodo
There is no better way to describe this charismatic catapult executed in craftmanship next to perfection. Work your way through it with patience and you will be rewarded with unmatched power and unexpected accuracy.

This is a piece of art that lives at the pinnacle of form and function. Finish is perfect, design fantastic and execution by proshot flawless. It melds to the hand, almost becoming an extension of your body. It’s well balanced, providing a solid, accurate platform for the heaviest of band sets to the lightest of target sets and is equally at home with either, performing admirably in all cases. If you are looking for a hammer grip catapult to add to your collection then pick this one up. You won’t be disappointed.

I have recently recieved this and all I could say is what an absolute beast. the workmanship is second to none. I was that impressed with this slingshot that I have also ordered the PPSG in aluminium. I know that it may be a little bit more expensive than other slingshots but believe me, if you are lucky enough to own one of these works of art you will know why you bought from Hogan castings. You certainly will not be disappointed.
